“Some relationships are like Tom and Jerry, they argue and disagree all the time, but they still can’t live without each other.”
The Mom and Dad Club is an online community for parents, by parents.
Who is Kristina and Joshua Long?
We are the husband and wife duo, behind the Mom and Dad Club. We created the community as a way to share our experiences, give encouragement, and learn together. We are husband & wife, mom & Dad, podcasters, and bloggers. We are quick to remind everyone that we are not experts, instead, we are practitioners & mentors. Which is just a funny way of saying we are parents and spouses, like you!
We are high school sweethearts who have experienced so much in our two decades together, but we also know we are not even halfway through this journey.
We have been married 18 years and have been parents for 14 of those years. We are Mom and Dad to a 14-year-old young man and an 11-year-old young lady. Together we are one big happy team, most of the time!
Kristina is a Certifed Pharmacy Technician, who also works at a local hospital network. She serves as the PTA president with-in their kid’s schools and she loves to volunteer in the community.
Josh is a consultant in the Manufacturing Industry and the founder/editor of a local community-based online-media outlet in our hometown. Josh is also a licensed wedding officiant in the State of Ohio, who enjoys working with couples as they plan for that first day of marriage.
Together, we have enjoyed many ups, from parenthood, homeownership, successful careers, and a loving family (aka the team), and have made it together through many lows, like multiple miscarriages, layoffs, money woes, and even indiscretions.
The Mom & Dad Club is a way for us to learn together and encourage each other. It is also a space for others, like you, to join us too. Why? Because when it comes to the marriage and parenting game, Together is Better!
Joshua & Kristina are certified marriage mentors through the Marriage Mentoring Academy.
